Childrens Corner

During the school holidays we usually have families with children, staying with us. The children find it great fun taking part, under supervision, in the day to day care of our growing menagerie, Many come back year after year to visit their favourite animal. Feeding time, especially in the mornings are very popular, not least I think, is that we get out most of the small animals for a hands on petting and grooming  session. Billy "the goat" is usually out and about, and after feeding and grooming likes nothing better than being lead by the children to the caravans to see what snacks are on offer, bread, toast, cakes, he’s not fussy.

Feeding in the evening generally around 5.00pm is again popular especially feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs, of which our Bed & breakfast guests enjoy with their breakfasts.
For the more adventures, our dogs Sidney and Lola, are always ready for a walk.

                   Cleaning out time

The animals are doing just fine with some changes and additions.

Each year we have a children’s art and craft competition. So come prepared with your crayons and colouring materials.
